Our Story

OUR STORY

Not everything needs to be reinvented. Some things just need to be done right.

Long before paraffin and synthetic dyes, homes were lit with beeswax and skin was cared for with what came from the farm. We hand-make every Aspen & Oak product in small batches in our studio in Loveland, Colorado, where the mountains, aspen groves, and open skies shape the way we think about scent and home.

OUR INGREDIENTS

Why beeswax and coconut wax?

We developed our own high-density wax blend to get the best of both worlds. Triple-filtered beeswax gives a slow, steady, clean burn, and natural coconut wax carries fragrance beautifully so the scent actually fills the room.

Every candle is free from dyes, phthalates, and mutagens, is Prop 65 compliant, and burns on lead-free cotton wicks.

MADE TO LAST

An even burn and a vessel worth keeping

Our 16 oz candles use dual lead-free cotton wicks and our 10 oz candles a single wick, sized to melt edge to edge without tunneling. Expect 75+ hours from a 16 oz and up to 50 hours from a 10 oz.

Each candle is poured into a soft-touch matte glass jar with a cork lid and arrives gift-boxed. When the wax is gone, the jar lives on as storage or decor.

Small batches, big care

Because we pour in small batches, every candle gets a careful look before it leaves our Loveland studio. It's slower, and that's the point.
